The Same Blackbird, 2022
for violin, spoken voice and birdsong The Same Blackbird contains two excerpts from Strathmore* – a scrupulous transcription of blackbird song by Stevie Wishart – and Blackbird Rhapsody, a response by poet Alice Oswald.
